@coonce: As far as a release date, I don't know. The other SSX games always came out in Oct/Nov. But Skate seems to have done pretty well in that Q1 territory, so maybe EA is thinking of dropping SSX in that slot at the end of January and avoid all the other massive games in the Fall.
@jakob187 Well at least we agree that 3 is the pinnacle of the series. I never understood the blind love of Tricky that the majority of people seem to have. Tricky was basically just a special edition of the first game.
@TMThomsen: I'm getting this too. The upload works, but it only adds the first one to the gallery. Then you have to go through and add each image to the gallery individually from your image library.
It seems like the majority of people were completely turned off by the SSX trailer that was shown back at the VGA's. As a long-time SSX fan, I wasn't super excited by it, but I was willing to wait and see. The more that comes out about it, the more I like it. This is still EA Canada, the same people that did the games you loved. And from you can see in this video, it's alot of the same actual people at the helm.
@jakob187: They had it running in 3D at PAX on one of the new LG non-battery glasses 3D TV's. The game already looks great. The 3D didn't do a whole lot other than pop the UI and the occasional projectile (i.e. Kung Lao's hat bouncing towards the screen).
