@Tyashki: No bother here... I have friends and colleagues in the US who can keep me in a ready supply of PSN vouchers. The functionality all works just fine as far as I can tell and as an added bonus games are literally have the price on the US PSN store compared to the .au one. I'm not intending to alternate back and forth between a US and .au account, though. That process does sound like a hassle.

I am StateOfTheArt-XD. It's a US PSN account but I am secretly in Australia. But add me no matter where you live because I have no friends. None. Not a single one. ;_;

I just got my Vita and currently have Lumines, Rayman and SSD. Will be adding UMVC3 shortly though and then SF X Tekken soon soon after that. Yeah!

Now here's some interesting next-gen console scuttlebutt. Microsoft just registered Sony-Microsoft.com. Cue speculation of a Sony Ericsson style partnership focussed on games consoles:

Beyond that, there's little to go on, and it may well be indicative of nothing. But I figured you guys would be interested :)

Good news, everyone!

A certain beta release of a certain tablet operating system may allow AirPlay to work from the regular, non-mobile site. Or it may not. I couldn't possibly say.

@rebgav: interesting - thanks. Will take a look. That said, as discussed in the other thread, even if it is only an option for subscribers, Airplay from the main site would be super and while I'm not a web developer it doesn't look like it's a huge challenge to implement. Some comment from the Giantbomb HTML Wizards as to whether or not this is planned would be lovely.

@rebgav: Mmm... Cheers for the link. I hadn't noticed you can set video quality on the mobile site but on closer examination, you can.

Still, this is but a partial solution and less than optimal for use with the iPad. So I live in hope that it may be rolled out across the full site. :S

Gratuitously bumping this thread because the lack of Airplayage still makes me so deeply sad.

Ahoy, Giantbombsters.

I'm having issues with Airplay on the full site - it seems to send audio only.

Airplay from the mobile site works - though the mobile site isn't really ideal for browsing from the iPad. But the mobile site doesn't allow me to select video quality (unless I'm missing something) - and the default quality on a 50" HDTV is insufficient to set my pants alight.

I appreciate that those of us that actually use Airplay to watch videos on the site are probably a teeny-tiny minority... but this is a big deal for me - hell, 90% of the reason I bought an Apple TV was to get my QuickLook on on the big screen. So any chance you could fix this up?

Love and hugs as always.
