My personal experience watching DBZ was such that I remember there was a year long gap between where Kai's episode 30 ends and the next episode begins.
Imagine the months-long buildup to Goku vs the Ginyu force... and then unexpectedly seeing Raditz's ugly mug the next week.
Gaaaaaah. My anticipation for the Jeice and Berter beatdown was indescribable at the time. Glad y'all don't have to deal with that.
Rage had great gunplay and really interesting AI, but yeah everything else was serviceable at best.
And how 'bout that ending. Rage's loose fart of a "final boss" for lack of a better term is one of the least satisfying non-climaxes I've ever seen. I can't think of any other game in recent memory with such a limp final stretch.
