This movie is absolutely not for the lazy thinker, as Christopher Nolan forces the watcher to keep track of multiple variables at once. Inception’s concept is so diverse, they literally explain what is going on almost through it’s entirety. In it’s two hour twenty minute run through, they squeeze in so much info and explain everything in great detail it’s almost too much to remember, almost. With it’s ingenious premise, exquisite special effects, and well thought out cast, Inception is the summer blockbuster that should not be missed.

The story is about a man named Dom Cobb who has the very unique skill of delving into people’s minds and stealing their ideas. This skill has run him out of the U.S. and away from his family and forced him into other countries to lay low. He meets a guy that wants to use his ability but instead of stealing ideas, he wants to plant an idea to make the person think what was not originally there; this technique is called Inception in which should be impossible. Dom must assemble a team of people to help him with this job including an architect who has to “create” the dream.

They do all this by using these machines, which I’m sure they explained but it was fairly brief. I’m not even sure how they can all be in the same dream, but this machine makes it possible and I might have just forgotten the explanation. They really do explain everything, every little detail that helps make this story more believable. Anything that could be a breaker to the whole “dream story” has a purpose in the movie. What about when you die in a dream, or you get hurt, it’s explained. What if you are suddenly woke up during the dream you need to be in, it’s explained. Try to hold off on the bathroom breaks during this film because I guarantee you will miss something that is relevant to the story.

The special effects are top notch. People have states it looks like The Dark Knight and the Matrix together. The action in the movie is better than any Matrix movie ever had a shot at. Sure the world warping and folding into itself is cool, but the fighting, chase, and shootout scenes really stand out. The whole scene in the hotel where the building is spinning is one of the best action scenes ever. At no point does it ever look fake where other movies with special effects like this always had the CGI in the way of the realism.

Inception never once felt long. I enjoyed it throughout the entire film and hope that other people watch it so we can discuss the ending. I’ve seen different thoughts on it and I have my own. This is definitely this year’s summer blockbuster so please go check it out if you have any interest at all.

Get the new hotness and go with RDR. Once you complete it, get the double pack of Grand Theft Auto 4, the 2 DLC episodes. Both together were a better game than GTA4 was.

I like that he leaves it up to us to decide on what we think is the ending. I hate to say it, but he never did show the top topple over, so he is stuck in a dream state IMO.

Mine would be my PS1 memory card with my Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9 files along with FF Tactics, Crash Bandicoot 2, and Vagrant Story. Also losing my Wii kinda sucked with my long Legend of Zelda file and 120 stars in Galaxy

It's sad to say but it did at one point. I remember when I told myself I would never let it rule me ever again. It was around like 5 A.M. and I just beat King Kong. I had Fallout 3 and Fable 2 sitting besides it... still unplayed. I remember thinking I could have had a large chunk of Fable 2 done but decided to play like 10 hours of King Kong. They don't rule me anymore. I'll play the game and decide if the achievements are worth getting. If they take me way out of the experience of the general story i'll most likely skip them.

Nah, I'm looking forward to it. We haven't had these types of zombies before (or rarely had western zombies.)
