@Red: That's awesome news. I had no idea. I'm not sure how they would work with Revan though since there was a choice as to how that character ended up. Did they ever settle on a canonical ending?

If this game can scratch my KotOR itch I will be elated. And here I was promising myself to never touch an mmo again ...

I think the canonical ending was the light side ending, and he possibly may have turned back to the dark side later, but I'm not sure. Also, I believe that girl that is a descendant of Bastila is voiced by Jennifer Hale. So they will even sound the same!
The canonical ending was the light side ending, yes. Revan is in SWTOR. As it is - a lot of people are upset on things dealing with him. It's heavily spoilerish to say more. But suffice it to say, as a former KotOR player.... I was disappointed on how things were handled with him in SWTOR. This won't prevent me from buying the game.. but I cringe nonetheless when I think upon it.

How could he be in it? He'd be like 350 years old. His story is, I seriously doubt Raven is.

From Brads hint on NeoGAF he thinks it's a great game.

Oh yay pre order crap. Digging the boxart tho, very Kotor.

It's just a colour change. Nothing big.

Is this your source? http://www.empik.com/star-wars-the-old-republic-pre-order-edycja-kolekcjonerska-pc-bioware,p1044290448,multimedia-p Could be a place holder, could be fake? I wouldn't call it confirmed. It is alright looking, though. I'd love to be optimistic though and hope this means the San Diego Comic Con is bringing us some Pre-Order information.

I found it on NeoGAF. I don't think it's a placeholder, it's too good for that.

Some marketing would have helped Shadows of the Dammed.
And a decent name and a decent cover.

Meanwhile, two games weirder than Zelda attracted far more exclusive audiences. Child of Eden, the NPD told Joystiq, sold approximately 34,000 units in its debut month, ranking at number 83. At the same time, Shadows of the Damned managed to sell 24,000 copies, combined, on PS3 and Xbox 360. Damn.

Holy shit. Those are abysmal numbers for both games. Shadows of the damned looked pretty cool too.

The editor is INSANELY laggy for me. I think it starts chewing up my CPU usage or something. It's got a good 2 second lag between me typing and what shows up. It's unuseable.

It's pretty pathetic they showed this ma-canon thing off at E3 as being in-game when it's actually pre-order stuff.

Pathetic, or greedy?

One and the same
