I'm going to the wiki, then the Images tab, clicking Add new images, then adding images. It shows them once added, and I save, but then they disappear (assuming waiting for approval).
But the addition of the images doesn't show up in my wiki editing history, and it's been weeks and they still aren't there. It doesn't appear that they are being reviewed or added.
Is it a bug? Or am I going about this the wrong way? I've been trying to add pictures to Super Mega Baseball.
I've seen this a lot with devs asking for changes to wiki pages of their own games. Remember that these wiki pages are not product pages for marketing purposes, they're sources of information about the games. It doesn't matter if names are outdated or artwork has been changed. That all becomes part of the games history, which is what the wiki is there for. Of course, if you see something that is simply inaccurate, it should be changed but something like aliases or images in the gallery don't confuse anyone. They help chronicle a game's history and development. If images don't represent the final work, they can be put into a gallery labeled "early version" or there can be a caption under them. The name change can be explained in text form on the page itself. All of this is more valuable than simply removing "outdated" stuff. Hope this helps you understand.
I don't know anything about the game, but I would argue concept/pre-release names should be kept as aliases in case someone knows the game only by that name. It's been done in the past.
Possibly, but no one really should know it by this name. It was named Super Mega Baseball a couple years before releasing.
Can you remove the alias name of 'BigFly Baseball' from the Super Mega Baseball page? The game was never released under that name, it was the original concept name pre-release but is no longer relevant.
