"How about instead of versus we get... a single player mode without Sheva! I mean co-op is cool but I want a playable SP. Of course it wouldn't work story-wise or whatsoever but wouldn't it be amazing to play the single player without a retarded AI partner lol. I would gladly pay $5 for like an update that removes Sheva. Who else agrees with me?"
Meh RE5 was designed to be played with a partner if I want to play alone I'll go back to RE4
"
You would pay $5 for goddamn extra characters in Mercenaries(you know, nickel and dime DLC), but you wouldn't pay the same price to get a quality single player more? Seriously?
"
There's nothing wrong with the single player in the game. If you don't like the AI, then play with a friend.

It's seriously ridiculous that that post had be taken down. Seriously people, you're analyzing this way too much. MB was just saying "Don't be dicks" and everyone has a fucking fit.

God, the people defending this piss me off. I think we all know that if a Canadian "satire" show came on the air and said stuff like that about the United States, Bill O'Reilly would be jumping on his desk like a fucking idiot screaming at the top of his lung. Fox News, please die in a fire.

"One of the guys on talking is actually a comedian. But I don't think you can have a satire program on a news channel that has millions of mindless people who takes everything they say for face value."
The one guy who is actually a comedian is the one who wasn't talking the entire time for good reason. This isn't satire. It's simple retardation. Saying "HEY CANADA SUCKS" is not a joke. It's not funny. And it sure as fuck isn't satire. Satire implies some kind of intelligence. There was no intelligence to be found in that video.

Reviews aren't about stars. They're about the words. You should try reading them once in a while. They're actually quite useful.

Bottom line is, what clearly defines a dick from a non-dick? One person can be considered a dick by one person, a smart ass to another, and Bhudda to even another in some cases. There best be some clear intent found the defined dicks.
That's why there is more than one of us - rarely does a decision get made by just one person.  There is a private forum that you can't even see, and a ton of communication is done behind the scenes via PM and in our own IRC server.  I couldn't even begin to count the number of "What do you guys think about this?" group PM's that are in my inbox.

I definitely see where you are coming from, and you're right, I could have written that post differently, but I didn't.  A lot of what you see coming through is my frustration at our own failures as moderators for letting things get this far - we've just been too nice and too hands-off with some of the things that have gone on around here.  Ultimately, I could have been a lot more gentle, but sadly the current state that the forums are in doesn't call for gentle."
My concern is entirely with you, actually. I can imagine that there are collaborated decisions done, but I feel that perhaps a load of them are mostly done by yourself. The announcement in question, for instance. Was that a collaborative effort or was that done on your own? Because it's become quite clear that the announcement dictates the new week banning, and that Jayge had been banned for a week, which is quite a coincidence. And it certainly seems from what Jayge has mentioned and what I and several other people have observed that you have been giving him a hard time for what he has said in general. Controversial, without a doubt, but worthy of a ban? I have yet to see anything he's posted that is seriously offensive or in violation of another member. Which brings me back to the announcement. It seems like a personal vendetta to me, the way it was constructed. So basically what I'm saying is, how much is that post actually geared towards people that are serious problems to this forum and people that just don't do things the way you'd like them to do things?"
You've never seen Jayge post something offensive? Really? I don't think you're looking hard enough.
