Not being cool again. Another confirmation/reminder that I can stream 1080p on Youtube, perfectly. A ten minute video loads in less than half a minute. Not on Giant Bomb though. :(
Not that it means anything, but videos as of now seem fine on high quality stream. Since discussion has been made on it being a bandwith/throttle issue, it probably might not mean that the issue is fixed. We'll see..
Glad (...should I be?) that I'm not the only one with this problem. I've tried Giantbomb on Firefox, Chrome, and Internet Explorer - all have that same problem.
I'm fairly comfortable with computers. I can download anything at 1.5mb/sec. But starting yesterday, video streaming and progressive loading have been terribly slow. What's going on? I'm pretty sure it's not my internet provider / router / computer because everything else loads fine.
5.14.10 edit: looks like those who have problems are all using Comcast, on various browsers/operating systems. ISP problem? Fluke? Cry. :(
To be, GTA was revolutionary with popularizing open world, but since open world is such an easy thing (in terms of technicality and system requirements) nowadays... GTAIV plays a little old. It certainly runs a lot on its history of GTA rather than GTAIV as the game.
