Honestly, I'll go where ever they're serving pigs in a blanket. I love pigs in a blanket.

Infinity Ward released MW3; it's very simple...just like his promise.

This post is meant not to be an official forum petition, but it most certainly should inspire some real discussion. Eccentrix brought up on psylah's forum post "Forgotten Promises" that Brad Shoemaker promised he'd eat his hat.

I'm sure we all remember the day. A few months ago, June (I think), Brad Shoemaker made a pledge to the entire Giant Bomb community that, if Infinity Ward released a COD game this year, he would eat his hat. I think it's time for him to seriously consider this exciting opportunity as a future video for subscribers.

I'd like to personally say that I have a tremendous amount of respect for Brad. He has always been my favorite Giant Bombcaster (well, maybe not better than Ryan but certainly better than Alex), and the last thing I would ever call Brad is a "liar." Brad, as he often does, made a statement that day, a statement I believe in. Brad is not the kind of man to callously make claims without plans to fulfill them; he's a man of calculation and careful consideration. When he uttered the words "I will I will eat my hat," he had already internalized the consequences of his promise. I'm not saying the man should ingest an entire full-brimmed top hat, but I think he owes it to all of us (himself?) to at least eat some, if not most, of a hat. Personally, I'd recommend a modest ball cap, something light and sporty but not too pretentious (maybe a yamaka depending on the season).

What do you think?

GTA IV was excellent in my opinion. I have been a fan of the series since the original on the PC, but GTA IV really stuck with me. I couldn't be more excited about GTA V from 11/2/11 - /11/11/11.

Thank you for linking us to Geist's review of Infinity Blade. I completely agree that reviews/criticism like Geist's and Parkin's are essential for taking seriously video games as art. I disagree that life is best viewed through a single window, and any criticism is only one piece of the overall picture. People who get frustrated with others' views and critiques on games only hurt the medium.
