*Nameless* - A game in development - Part III

Part I:
Part II:

Level editor

One of the main features of our game is the ability to create your own maps. These can then be uploaded onto a server for everyone else to enjoy. We now have the basics down for the map-editor. It can pan around, zoom in and out, create terrain and edit the terrain, and it can save/load the maps.
It is also possible to import your own textures for use as the terrain.
That's it for this update. Stay tuned if you're interested in getting your hands on the game.
Oh, and we are still trying to come up with a name for this game. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Part one can be found here:

Replacing the worms with an original character

After some thinking, Josh and I agreed that it would be nice to create our very own character for the game we are making (see Part 1, above). We agree that it woould be a bad idea to base the game on worms. Therefore, we settled upon hamsters. So far, I have tried to characterize (or cartoonify, if you will) various hamsters. Here's what I have come up with so far:

I don't actually own my own hamster, so it's anatomical correctness is probably very shakey. I did google quite a few hamsters in the making of these.

User Interface

We have also made the UI-system more or less complete. It has lists, buttons, boxes, you name it. Here are some concepts of the UI (these were made while the game would still have the worms in it)

...and here's what the in-game UI actually looks like right now (the logo is placeholder, until we find a new name for the game):

New name

We're still not sure what we should name the game. If you have any suggestions, leaving them below would be much appreciated!

Not liking GB's "Parchment" editor for the blogs. Makes it a pain for me, in google chrome!
Anyway, I noticed that most of the images didn't blow up into correct size, so I'll just post the links here:

Pinktards - A game in development

Pinktards is an online multiplayer 2D real-time platform shooter. It's basically Team17's "Worms" (http://www.giantbomb.com/worms/62-133/), except it's in real-time.

Who is developing the game?

We are two duders. Josh and me. We are making the game using C# (XNA). Josh is focused mainly on the programming. I do some programming, but I'm not as experienced, and I handle the graphics/sound/music. We both design the game as we go along.

What does the game look like?

Here's what the game looks like at the moment. It's pretty barebones at the moment.

Below: Mockups made in Photoshop.

Let me know if you have any thoughts. It would be nice if there were any graphical artists who would be willing to help me create some graphics for the game.
