Don't care about the new cycle of consoles to be perfectly honest however I do hope they stress test and QA the living FUCK out their new chips not like last time.
They really have to. They sort of got a free pass this time around due to having good timing with release and producing enough good games to overlook the RRoD (and admittedly avoiding the issue and flat out lying about their number of defective consoles), but the public won't let 'em get away with it again. At least I hope not. If it happens again and people forgive them a second time, I've pretty much lost faith in gamers having ANY spine at all - and this is coming from someone who would say the XBox is easily their favorite console brand.
Yeah. FOr the longest time the 360 had just a horrible cooling system. I couldn't really believe how bad it was until I opened one and saw the horror show inside.
To all the people saying they don't care that this new xbox will be weak as hell think about this. You're still going to be paying at least 400 for it and it's not going to be that much better looking than the xbox you already own.

I agree that there's no way the next Xbox will be $400. I bet it will be closer to $250.
$399 max. No way they'll go over $400 unless it's some super duper model/bundle with tons of stuff.
The 360 was $400 when launched. It's MS. Do you really think they'll charge the same price for their new console as they did with their older model? You better just start chasing wind mills now.
