Just thought I'd add to the myriad of people wishing you well and thanking you for making this website fucking awesome, enjoy being a dad!

Numerous issues, it installed and patched perfectly but then

I could connect to the server in the launcher but once the game was launched, no dice.

When I finally got in the tutorial it would sometimes load and sometimes didn't exist, I got in the tutorial twice on two different servers but once I visited the other city within the tutorial I got disconnected.

I then couldn't connect for hours

I had to delete local user data multiple times because it got stuck in a checking for updates loop

When I finally reconnected later, I got through the tutorial when i went to create a region I couldn't claim the region I had created (on multiple serves)

Again left it for another hour and then had to do the tutorial again however this time it would not load it properly so i could see the city but had no instructions on what to do, I couldn't do a thing and this went on for about half an hour, after multiple server changes (where I basically couldn't even connect in the launcher most of the time) I got through and started to build my city and finally play (4 and a half hours after install) I played for about 3 hours and I really like the game.

The more I see of this game the more I want it, pre-ordered it and origin name is oombalan

I'll buy whatever the premium model is day one, knowing our luck in Australia though this is going to be $1000 console like the PS3 was at launch.

Did anyone seriously buy their Wii U specifically for Rayman Legends or Ninja Gaiden?

If not the only other valid thing to be disappointed about is announcing a seven month delay three weeks from release (which is a pretty shitty thing to do).

It should be possible to find this special edition offensive/sexist and it should also be possible to purchase this special edition without being a labeled a sexist/misogynist, why is there never any balance with this sort of thing? It's not something I would buy because I think special editions are usually too expensive and offer very little value. Funnily enough what I take issue with most in this article however is correlating something like this to the rape and murder of Jill Meagher I think that is fucking despicable. I wonder how her family and husband feel about it.

Just watched this Nintendo Direct and I have to say I'm a little bit excited about just about all these games, I bought a Wii U at launch and I really enjoyed NSMBU and Nintendo Land but nothing has really piked my interest since, I never got to play Wind Waker on Gamecube and because its so hard to find these days for a reasonable price I'm glad they are doing a HD version (it looks fantastic). A new 3D Mario is always significant news so I can't wait for that, Yoshi's Yarn look neat, Having never played Fire Emblem or SMT but heard good things about both I am definitely going to take a look at that, I haven't played a JRPG in years but X looks fucking great. The games by Platinum look also look like fun, a lot to look forward to on this system.
