Awesome! I'll be making my booking plans later this week and I'll make sure to keep in contact with all of you interested in meeting up through PM.

I will be drinking for sure, and the first round is on me! I was thinking of meeting up at Insert Coins (a barcade) in old Vegas (Or is it Downtown Vegas? I'm talking about Fremont). I'm totally up for kicking it at the hotel room with some games and brews as well. Just throwing out some ideas. I should have some concrete plans by the end of this week or early next week. Let me know if you guys have any suggestions or preferences.

This is a totally relaxed and open thing, so go ahead and invite whoever you want to come along. Looking forward to it!

Love that game. P.N.03 is extremely underrated.

Couple of those screenshots you got are not from GC but the emulator for PC though. :P

Hey guys. I'll be attending Evo this year for the first time. I'll be going as a spectator, not competing.

So, who else is going? I'll be attending alone, so I'm looking to see if anyone wants to meet up, hang out, drink and watch the games! Las Vegas Hilton is fully booked for groups right now and the prices are going to be about $179-$220 over the weekend for single rooms. I'll definitely be getting a room at a nearby place but haven't decided yet.

So, I'm looking to see if any of you guys had plans or suggestions? I'm definitely willing to throw in on a good sized room if anyone wants to group up. I'll be bringing along my PS3 as well with KoFXIII, USFIV, BB: CP and Third strike (among others). I'm a total casual with fighting games but I love them and love watching great players.

I'll be driving from LA, so if anyone is in the area that would like a ride, I can fit 2 other people comfortably.

Today is the last day to register: http://evo.shoryuken.com/

So if you're interested (or want to let a scrub like me tag along for shits), just reply to this thread or PM me.

EDIT: Sorry guys I had to cancel my trip to Vegas for some work related stuff. Hopefully next year I can attend.

I feel ya man. I have been without gold for almost 2 years now. Never buying an XB1 either. I'm officially done with MS consoles.

The 2nd game (infamous 2 that is) had that weird "choose your waifu" for alignment. That was just really unnecessary in the grand scheme of things. Gameplay wise the first is still my favorite; the last boss fight was a decent challenge on hard too.

Wait, what... ? I merely saw Kuo and Nix as an interpretation of the classic Angel and Devil on your shoulder sorta thing, until they reverse roles at the end. That they were women didn't really factor into things. Nix definitely was a bit... feisty, but it seemed in-line with her character. Much like how Kuo was all business for the most part throughout the game. I think it was interesting actually how the core relationship in the game was the bromance between Cole and Zeke, specifically Zeke's attempts to regain Cole's trust. It was enough to then make having to kill him during the evil ending surprisingly tough, least for me.

It was basically a "choose your waifu" dating sim. Don't sugarcoat it man.

Ys 7, Ys Oath in Felghana and Ys Celceta are good picks for what you are looking for.

I would also recommend Toukiden. It's definitely a Monster Hunter clone but a very accessible one. Faster and simpler combat but very rewarding battles. Plus it's one of the few games that run in native resolution on the Vita. There is a demo on the store, which you can transfer progress to the main game if you decide to get it.

The Wii U version lets you use the touchscreen to switch sub-weapons on the fly. No need to pause the game to do it. You can still do it the old-fashioned if you want. I got so used to using the touchscreen for weapon switching that I can't really play the game any other way. No steam version for me. Besides, I would consider the Wii U version to be the definitive.

I love the way the game turned out. I didn't want another lengthy infamous game like the previous two entries. It kept a good pace. I think the story was much better than Cole's and the characters more likeable. Better antagonist in Second Son as well.

The 2nd game (infamous 2 that is) had that weird "choose your waifu" for alignment. That was just really unnecessary in the grand scheme of things. Gameplay wise the first is still my favorite; the last boss fight was a decent challenge on hard too.

Got it on Wii U. Amazing game. Short but great. Really scratches that Megaman and Castlevania itch.
Some real love was put into that game. Was expecting a polished pixel art indie title (and it was that) but it was much more. The end actually got me misty eyed. As well as every time you have to catch the Shield Knight, just to wake up at the campfire the next day. Gave me those feels.

The Mole Knight and Tinker Knight level (music) themes are my favorites in the game.

What version did you get?

Are you enjoying it?

Did you beat it?
