How are the graphics? Compared to infamous? They weren't that good the last time I saw the game.

I've never played WoW, or any MMO, and proud of it.

@Snail:
" Some, but it's a lot better than before.I think Crysis 2 will be better on the PS3 though, because I think the 360 will have lots of problems handling it. I am also really pissed that Crysis 2 is a multi-platform game because that means graphical downgrade for the PC version as well. "
Not necessarily. I think the PC version will still look (potentially) the best if you can run it at very high settings, whereas they will set the graphics on the console versions at the equivalent of the medium or high setting for PC. CoD4 was the same way.

I'd say yes, Halo 1 was awesome and just plain fun. It's still my fav out of the 3.

@AgentJ: I really don't care about achievements. (What does that have to do with anything?)

" @AgentJ: I know, I get that. But the idea of the matchmaking system is that it is pretty unified, simplistic and everyone is unified under one mode in the one place without having to worry and in that respect adding maps to the game is probably the worst thing to do because it fragments the users immediately. Short of letting all users access the playlists and hope the matchmaking system can find people, check if they have certain maps, put them together and search until a player count is met there is not much Bungie could have done except made playlists specifically for 'Map Pack-free' which would split the userbase and effectively quadruple the amount of playlists and add some layer of confusion to the Matchmaking system which is not what it was designed for. I mean look at it this way, there will be people with no map packs (heroic is free so that's not a problem) heroic & mythic, Heroic and Legendary, or all 3. That effectively means there will be 4 playlists of each combination in order for the Matchmaking system to function efficiently. How much of a slating would Bungie get for having such a cluttered and confusing system? As the team who pretty much made console multiplayer systems what they are today. So the choice would be either make them all necessary, or let the system become some contorted, confusing system. Instead they kept the most popular server open to those who want to keep it free and gave people a choice to pay for the improvements. It's not the greatest sentiment, but it is probably the best they could have done short of re-writing the coding for the matchmaking system and creating a new online system. "
You make good points, but everyone seems to be acting as if there is no middle ground/
For one, the users are already fragmented, between the ones who can play team slayer and the ones who cant. Like i was saying, the easiest way to do this would simply add one more playlist for people that dont have all the map packs. since heroic is free, that should be a requirement, but having both of the other two should put a player into what already exists as team slayer, while having one or none slots them into the theoretical new team slayer sans DLC. This isnt taking any users away from the current Team Slayer, and only giving another option to people who cant currently play team slayer. I doubt they would have a problem making one more playlist.
"
um..........so you want a non-DLC playlist? Enjoy social slayer :S "
That's exactly what I said. The users are fragmented at an acceptable level. If you are a new user and don't wanna pay for map packs, just play social slayer. It's the same thing (except 5v5), you can play with more friends, and its free. Why do people wanna play ranked so badly anyway? I thought that craze was over.
