I'm currently playing Zombi U, Nintendo land and Shadow of Mordor. After I finish those up, I'm feeling like some Super Mario 3D World, Spec Ops: The Line and perhaps another Hotline Miami play through.
I was going to say sports, but since you said to pick something else, I'd have to go with Free to Play, just charge me for the game and leave micro transactions out of it.
If free to play doesn't count, I'd go with racing games, they don't interest me much.
I didn't play or keep up with many releases in 2014, I pretty much just went in and tried to clean up my backlog, I didn't even watch many Giant Bomb videos or read the forums so I'm kind of in the dark about some of the games I missed out on in 2014.
I know about the major releases, the Shadow of Mordors, Destinys, Call of Dutys and stuff like that, but there are a lot of indie games that I probably missed out on, for example, I just found out about Jazzpunk (which looks great)
What are some of the best, non mainstream games I would've missed in 2014? Thanks.
It seems weird to me that I haven't posted here in over 6 months, seeing as I used to post here daily, but something has gone wrong and I don't know how to fix it - Video games are boring me. I've just finished Metro 2033, the first game I've played and completed in a while, and I look at my steam library and realise that nothing in it seems to interest me.
Maybe it's just a thing of me having to actually start playing the game before I get into it, but I have pretty much zero urges to play anything, which is weird. I also got half-way through Infamous recently and have lost interest in it (even though I've played it before and loved it).
Has anyone been through something similar? I'd hate to think that I'm losing interest in something that is such a big part of my life. Someone, please tell me it will pass soon, or give me some tips on how to fix this?
Pretty recently I picked up the ASUS VG278HE but I'm having some problems with getting the colours right. I'm just using it for gaming/movies so picture editing doesn't concern me.
I'm having some trouble because standard mode looks washed out, and scenery mode looks really good in some games (Disney Infinity) the blacks aren't distinguishable, making dark scenes look way too dark.
Does anyone have this monitor, or just general monitor experience, and help me get the best picture out of this thing? It's kind of bugging me, even though I don't know that much about colour accuracy, I just want it to look consistently good and accurate.
And yes, I have used Google but it hasn't helped that much.
Flappy Bird seems like it's the new thing when it comes to mobile gaming, people have been saying it's the next Angry Birds or Candy Crush or whatever.
What do you guys think about it? Do you like it or hate it and hope of goes away soon?
I think it's a neat little game, it's fairly addictive and is free (and it doesn't have micro transactions) for anyone else who've played it, what's your highscore? Mine is currently sitting at 102.
