Valve is an amazing company, and is definitely one of the best developers out there. Words can't describe how great they are, just buy some of their games (I'm sure many of you have) and you'll understand.
If the DLC is amazing I might check it out, though I think it was a big mistake to delay it as I know many people would probably have downloaded it in the summer. Putting the DLC when a bunch of hit games is coming out is not a very good idea, and will probably overshadow it.
I think there should be no multiplayer achievements at all. Look at Call of Duty 4, one of the most played multiplayer games and does not have a single achievement for multiplayer. I don't like the new system that Epic is placing though, with only one kill goes toward the achievement you are working for, counts per round.
It was an amazing game, but does it deserve the perfect 10's and 100% most gaming sites were giving it, no it did not. I think that most reviewers got caught up in the hyped, and did not see the flaws in the game. Problem is once you beat it you don't feel like playing it again since it is so long, and the multiplayer is fun but is not something that keeps you occupied for a long time. It deserves a high score, but not a perfect score if the scoring system is out of 100 or 10.
That's fanboys for you, though I have to admit I love seeing them fight each other, its very entertaining. Also the M$ thing is pretty stupid since all companies want to make as much money as they can, just like $ony, and Nintendo (can't find a way to put the dollar sign in).
In a way yes, as you mostly see him in most Gears of War related things, and he loves to be in all the Gears of War videos, interviews, etc... But he loves video games (especially the ones hes working on), and hey he did come up with the idea for a gun with a chainsaw bayonet. He can't be that bad.
