While I didn't really expect any announcements, at least a tease of something would have been nice. I believe there was some new Dragon Age DLC announced, though, concerning Leliana. Did I just dream that?
I randomly found a new copy of Far Cry 2 over a year ago for $7.99 (I don't know why it was so cheap) and picked it up on a whim, not having planned on getting it before that. I haven't played it in a while, though. I totally agree that it's a beautiful game. Maybe I'll go back into it again; I remember having fun with it. I like having relatively open-ended games to play while listening to the Bombcast or other podcasts. Games that are heavily story driven don't work too well.
Believe it or not, I'm a HUGE fan of movie and game soundtracks. The ones with an actual orchestra, not "soundtracks" that are really just rock albums. Other than that, I like pretty much anything to varying degrees. The only type of music that I can think of that I really hate is country.
