Counting all the main locations between 1-3, there's 20 of them. I'm not sure there's a way to squeeze all that in one hour, even when using all the gadgets and best starting locations. But I will gladly have Vinny prove me wrong & enjoy watching him trying to accomplish this task!
The full game speed run world records for each individual game is under 10 minutes. So they theoretically could all be done within 30 minutes.
I don't think that's a realistic goal to reach but I will enjoy watching Vinny improve his time for as long as it is fun to him.
@braves01: They kind of have a history of ripping into the negative parts of games they like and glossing over why they like them. You shouldn't let that push you off of it too much.
Squadsight is easily the strongest individual ability in the game, as showcased by Dan's last outing. Get Abomination on the roof and he would have gotten half the kills on that mission, but instead he only shot once the entire time. But with this format, they obviously won't know how to best utilize their squads skills.
Abby did great with only 4 though, glad to see they have all (mostly) given up on dashing.
Loved the unintentional foreshadowing when Vinny said "I wish you could use the MEC as cover."
Can't wait for the first EXALT mission.
The first time I ever did it I had 3 squad members die to 1 rocket launcher shot. And my squad was in a much better spot then theirs currently.
@elmorales94: I definitely noticed and caught these breaks in the early game but I think it is on purpose. At that point in the game all you can really do is shoot and move and the maps are small enough that the enemy rabbids could almost always get a dash+flank no matter where you are at if they were most efficient. I doubt even the best strategist could make it through multiple levels of that without healing.
I played the FIFA story mode and it was amazing. This story mode looks like it might be better from what I saw. Will definitely be getting this to check that out. Now if they could only do a major overhaul of their crap franchise mode.
There are just 100% spawns for cars and boats. All the other loot is random, though there are places that have higher chances of good loot than other. That being said, sometimes you find lots of good stuff outside the normally high % of good loot zones.
Apparently the new update is going to make it so garages have a higher spawn rate than roadside but not 100% anymore, and reading the patch notes they make it sound like the 100% spawn rate was actually a bug.
@jouhn: Seems like they made that the default but you can still change it to their in-house video player. Probably saves them a lot of money on bandwidth to default to the youtube player is my guess.
