Final Fantasy 13 has had the best combat system of any RPG that isn't in a hybrid genre. Fast paced, fluid, deceptively deep. But most importantly, fun (for 2nd half of the game at least).
My server is one of the more popular ones (Iron Citadel) and the queues over the past several days have been pretty bad. Up to 30 minute queues I have no problem with...it's launch. But it is rare that I don't log in anytime from 4-11 PM and not have to wait at least 45 minutes, most typically an hour or more. Server stability has been fine though, no crashes or lag that I've noticed.
I think around 10 or so new servers popped up today for the official launch day. I recommend new players start there. Don't be pulled in by the more popular servers unless you're willing to wait.
Just starting playing this a about a week ago and am frustrated by the rate that coppers are coming in. I am getting 70 per day and then any that are awarded through official times. I can go through that amount in like 3 minutes. I have no skill or interest in creating tracks or skins. Lotteries seem sketchy and I've never even found one.
Just kind of wondering if there's some other option I'm not aware of. Anyone moving on to Trackmania 2 that has leftover coppers to donate? My login is presleycm.
I remember playing TLJ back when it came out...think I still have the original box somewhere around. It was absolutely mind-blowing back then, and after playing it recently again it still holds up well. Anyone on the fence just play it, you'll love it.
Dreamfall is good too. It's still an adventure game, just with third person controls and camera. If you're only going to buy/play one or the other, choose TLJ. I think it's the better game. Also, there are some key plot threads that continue into Dreamfall.
