My suggestion would be to have a two sided campaign like halo 2. You could play as the police for 3/4 of it and as a crimelord for the rest. This could encourage more vaired gameplay like driving and also add depth to the story.
Is it just me or is this year the worst year ever for racing games? Burnout and GRID where great and i'm still playing Forza 2, but nothing has tempted me to ditch it for something new.
GT prologue is just a fancy demo with poor online, Motorstorm Pacific rift is more of the same, Pure is motorstorm on ATVs (still a good game btw) and i didnt really enjoy midnight club. There have been no F1 games, mario kart was crap and no news on what turn 10 are doing.
Usually we are treated to either a PGR or Forza from MS, which are the best racing games imo.
Will need for speed save the day or are racing games going the way of fighting games, straight to dimly lit, smokey japanese arcades?
