I have to say, although I enjoyed what I've played, I feel like I sort of ruined this game for myself, here's why (not sure if I need spoiler tags in this thread, but everyone else seems to be doing it):

I found the secret passage for the key to the attic too quickly, upon entering the house, then went into the attic as soon as I found it. Now I have (at least) two locked doors to explore with no sense of mystery left, or really any sense of the ominous atmosphere I was enjoying.

Did this happen to anyone else?

When you are hired by a company you are expected to act and perform in a professional manner.

You are representing that company when you make comments like these or actually make a flash movie about how terrible it is to work there.

I get what you're saying, but he didn't make a game about how shitty working at the CRA is, he made a game about how shitty it is to work at a call centre. He never mentioned the company within the game from what I understand, and never mentioned that he worked at the CRA.

These kinds of articles are fantastic, definitely want more.

I wouldn't say that game reviews really sway my opinions of a game or whether I will buy it or not. Quick looks and listening to stuff like the bombcast are more likely to sway me. Of course, there are times when nothing will change my opinion, I knew from the moment skyrim was announced, for example, that I would get it, no matter what anyone said about it, and that I am likely to get the most recent Assassins Creed game even though what I've heard about it hasn't been that great.

I have had a couple awesome moments so far. First was when I walked into town and seen a dog walking on the bottom side of a bridge. Second was in the champions quest mentioned earlier. Third was when I realised how much voice work/ work in general must have gone into this game. Fourth, whenever I'm in most dungeons I usually end up standing and shouting at the TV "I know there is something around that corner... I know it! Don't fuck with me, game, just get it over with *skeleton appears and I jump* fuck this game!" I think skyrim is the only game I get engrossed enough in to make me jump.

I'm thinking maybe Patrick is branching out into video journalism/stories. Maybe it will be Patrick Klepek in the news room again going to reporter in the field, Patrick Klepek. I hope it's that.

EDIT: Jeff was saying on the Dave show that they are looking for the right game for an ER but haven't found it yet so I doubt this is going to be a new one.

@c0llect: I'd imagine Journalism is different, the companies send GB the games, right? I'd say they fall into the same category as EVO, since they would have permission by the companies to show their games. At least, I hope that is the case.

I remember getting into home when they did that ARG but haven't been back since, I keep thinking about it then remember all the downloading/waiting it took to actually get into it and decide against it. Maybe I should try it again soon.

I got to page 5 and then it reset for some reason and I can't be bothered taking it again. I am mostly in the middle on most issues, and not just because of "Intellectual laziness". Also, I despise nothing more than people trying to make me vote, especially when they say "People fought for the right to vote, so you should vote". I'm not going to vote just for the sake of voting.

Loved this article, really interesting thing to read on a gaming website, that's why I love giant bomb!

You may also go several decades of your life without knowing you even have it. Like Jeff.

When I read this I also thought "Gerstmann?" I thought it added a nice touch to the article, kinda made it feel more personal than just *insert generic name here*.

I watched all the interviews and recaps and only got 1/3 for the Narwhal quest.
