Recently, I was playing some 2v2 with my friend, when at the beginning of the match I said, "Good luck have batman". Then it turns out one of the players on the other team is from Giant Bomb as he responds "Batman Batman Batman".  I thought that was pretty awesome, so I came up with a semi-awesome idea!
And it works like this:
At the beginning of the game instead of saying GLHF, say Good luck have batman. And if someone says Good luck have batman, respond "Batman Batman Batman". 
So play a bunch of games and see how often you meet someone from Giant Bomb and post some results here, whether it's nobody or 100 people.
 
Feel free to comment on the idea, whether you think this is a good idea or a complete waste of time so I know not to post things like this again!

I wonder how this became a thing on Giant Bomb. I know that I used it on my own in the BFBC2 server while I was waiting for the TNT to start and thought I was clever. However, shortly afterward I heard Ryan say it on the stream. He wouldn't have heard it from me since he was playing on the 360 at the time. Was it already a thing at that point?

I've been using GLHB while playing HoN. I've gotten no reaction so far.

Ryan said "Good Luck, Have Batman" on the Bombcast once.  "

Oh! I think I actually remember that now, though I couldn't tell you which person said it. My subconscious must have pulled it out of my memory without cluing me in. Looks like I wasn't as clever as I thought. C'est la vie.

I've been starting my matches with "glhbatman". most people have been "thanks!" or "heh", but one douchebag just responded with "is that supposed to be funny?"

I used it once in HoN. No responses other than from my friend saying. "Huh, I don't know that one."

I'm testing this in Omegle now. So far, everyone thinks I'm crazy.

Nobody even says gl hf on the european version. So I feel that my duty is to make this my opener in every match-

I once met somebody from giantbomb randomly on left for dead 2. He had a deadly premontion pic and was called Zach/York or something..... ah good times were had.

I get the idea but someone explain in detail on how this all started....was it just the whole ryan saying it randomly on a podcast?

I've tried a few times with no luck.  I figure there has GOT to be more people from GB down here in Bronze/Silver.

I'm using this every time, from now on.  Even used it in the tourney :)

I've actually been doing this ever since that bombcast...  Haven't run into any bombers yet, just getting a lot of "lolwut?"s.

I am now inspired to do this at the start of every SC2 game.

Btw, Jeff was definitely the one to say "Good luck, have Batman" while Vinny before that, suggested BM (bad manners) could also stand for the dark knight. It's in the 8/3/2010 bombcast around the 1:15 mark.
