Thanks for another bullshit boss-fight, Capcom - mind you, at least there wasn't a 10min tank battle beforehand (without checkpoints)
Speaking of which - what is it with Capcom and disregarding Checkpoint systems, as used by EVERYONE ELSE? I guess save system was slightly improved in DR2 - but that's not saying much - all I ever got were chances to save once I was in the safe room - when the hard-save point was in the next room anyway! Never in the middle of a sequence, or during one of the interminable Loading screens. Still Bionic Commando's were worse - considering all the chances for insta-death in that game, having 30min sections between checkpoints was criminal (I didn't mind the rest of the game (up to half-way ish, when I gave up)
Gah; I'm just annoyed that this turned out to be another game that frustrated me more than it entertained - all the fun bits were spoiled by my ire
Wow - just like last time; all the characters in DR2 are arseholes again - "Hey man, I heard your wife died in Vegas... I guess you must suck at killing zombies! BWAH HA HA!". Really...? :P
First time round it was the first psychopath that was in the supermarket; who just kept screaming, that signalled that these characters were going to be a bit "special"
Ended up locked in a post-start "Game Starting" screen, that locked up my Xbox, after 5min - my first "quit" there, I guess (some mimsey twonks seem to be habitual at that though - bloody short-handed teams are TERRIBLE to be stuck on - when did this idiocy creep in exactly?)
I'm guessing running a website is a lot of hard work - and all the GB crew are probably SUPER SERIOUS about it, when it's time for business - but damn, it makes me so envious seeing those fellas at work, having banter and fun. Also, (partly) playing games for a living can't be all that bad either ;)
Big ups to the GB boys then; for giving us hope that not all jobs have to suck donkey-ass!
It was the same with "Shotty Snipers" last time; if you veto'd a match, chances were you'd end up in SS - there's a certain type of player who likes that game type, which is fine; but why do the rest of us have to be subjected to the protracted and frustrating nature of sniper matches?!
Also, non-vehicle matches on Haemorage - no thanks!
