@awkwardl0ser: Wow, that's a lot of opinions out of you. Opinions that don't align with Dan and are therefore the truth in your mind, it seems.
Saying Breath of the Wild isn't innovative in the open world space seems ignorant to me. Which is my opinion. And everyone's allowed to disagree with me on this.
I like VNs and IFs, but something about this really turns me off. I'm not even quite sure what. The "overworld" doesn't seem great and the writing seems kind of bumbling, stuff I could usually excuse.
Maybe it's just that I still don't have much of an opinion or desire to play after watching the entire QL?
@paulunga: I'm not going to pretend I came upon this info organically. I only read about it a few days ago because of all the Blops talk but writing out the Roman Numeral of four by way of four tallys (IIII) was the original way it was written. Writing the number four as IV was used much later during the time of the Roman Empire as a means of abbreviation. It was common to see both used in a single document. Ultimately they are both acceptable usages.
I know. All of that. Since writing my original comment I found out that that's how they do it in the Blops 4 logo.
Honestly, I think Super Double Dragon (or Return?) looks pretty good, actually. Especially compared to the rest of the series, which is either outdated (1-3) or straight garbage (everything else but Neon).
And personally I think the first three are also straight garbage. Always have since playing the NES versions for the first time, don't like the arcade ones any more than those.
