El Fuerte and Vega are my two mains so this post made my ears perk up!

Tips for playing against Claw with Fuerte:

The most important advice against Claw as Fuerte is to not sprint across the full length of the screen. With his very fast roll and sky high claw there's just not enough opportunity to cancel yourself out the sprint in time and block the incoming assault. With EX versions you'll be losing a significant chunk of your healthbar if they manage to land.

Regular block doesnt work out too well against Claw's wall dive attacks as Fuerte's quite a small character in comparison to the rest of the roster and the wall dive attack connect usually hits above him rather than to a side. Focus blocking is the way to go or to mix it up (if you're daring enough), his backward sprint to spring jump (medium kick?) moves him out the way speedily in time with the screen scroll to Claw's dive.

I find that most Claw players if they can't connect with wall dives will crouch and poke around for a bit (easily blocked if you're not tempted to try and jab back with obviously insufficent range) then try to go into his forward jump HP > HP > Crouch mp > Roll combo. If you can anticipate this combo it leaves Claw open on the whiffed mp/roll for either a forward MK attack (which comes out as a very quick somersault attack which is hard to block/anticipate) or if Fuerte has any EX in the tank a quickly executed Press swings the balance into Fuerte's momentum where you can mix up all his sprint specials before Vega can eventually backflip away or Scarlet Terror to escape.

The real meat you're waiting for as Fuerte is the chance to launch his 2nd Ultra. You can easily knock off nearly half a health bar on the lower stamina characters such as Seth & Vega. The best opportunity is to wait for Vega to whiff his Crouch HK slide. The range and the fact Claw's in a crouching position makes Fuerte's second ultra almost unblockable. You can also force the situation onto Vega by making /HIM/ block your HK slide and as soon as the block connects - hit the ultra (back semi x2 3K) and it is almost 99% unblockable short of your timing being slow and him getting a lucky jump off in time. The one problem with the second method is that this also leaves you vunerable to Claw's second Ultra if you give him enough space to action before your slide connects.

FInally as with any Claw match, learn your combo's so that even if he succesfully defends you can knock his Claws off quickly in a round. This prevents his poking game which is where Vega excells and short of him regaining his Claw will find it very difficult if you keep on the offensive.

@C0V3RT: He's a moderator for XBL probably playing MW2 in his spare time, he's not call centre staff selling you insurance or dealing with customer complaints for a broken dishwasher. He even replied that he wasn't there as a representative to answer questions by placing the small child laughing at him on mute.

The real shame is that it wasn't an IW employee cleaning up the damn leaderboards and actually putting an end to the Prestige 10 bullshit that's made earning experience in multiplayer a complete waste of time and effort.

He suspended a guy for having a hacked level 10 prestige and finally for being harassed by someone he's already given a warning too before. What exactly is the issue here? If it was my job to play MW2 and moderate users I'd have probably racked up 100+ in an hour just going by Prestige 10 hacks,  TI boosting and inappropriate gamertags alone. Cut the guy some slack.

I'd imagine these screens are taken from a build running on a PC rather than a 360. I remember seeing similar quality shots for Fable 2 before its release spurring on much wonderment and awe..and the reality ended up being substantially less than depicted.

Marionco is right. I also got stuck multiple times in the same area playing it through in hardened and yet on veteran I managed it first try.

The secret is to let Ghost mop them up and purely assist with grenades/flashbangs and preferably a light machine gun (so you can spray constantly) while staying a safe distance behind.

When it tells you to grab the data, wait behind the tables nearest the window at the front of the house. A few more enemies will come through the doors but after a minute or two they will stop and Ghost will tell you he's 'cleared'. Once leaving via the front door with two LMG's and fully stocked on grenades/flashbangs, make sure you stay behind him and that he's visible. Let him attract as much attention as possible so you have easy pickings.

The principle error for this level is getting out of the house infront of Ghost. The enemies will make you stop and as a result get hit by a mortar.

If the opposing team has let a player on the opposition get 25 (or 24 with Hardline) kills then the game is pretty much over anyway. Just by the average K/D ratio of a player  being around 1.2  if you let a team get 10 kills (100 points) ahead it's very unlikely - short of getting a lucky carepackage - to come back from.

Rather than ruin it for the other team, it's pointing out that they're doing something wrong, E.g. Not communicating efficiently as a team or camping rather than actively seeking this guy out on the map to end his streak.

If anything it adds risk to the better players to try and get a few extra kills for the prestige of a nuke rather than camp in a corner (or a roof) which is more likely to get them killed then end the game. I've personally clocked up over 8 days playtime on multiplayer so far reaching the 3rd prestige and I've only seen one player (in a domination match where kill streaks carry over) get a nuke legit without using a ringer on the opposing team.

If you're 12 year old brother managed it without using the tactical insertion spawn cheat then hats off to him he can boast he is the 'hot shit'. Though without evidence calling his bluff on the tactical insertion cheat will most likely piss him off big time.

While I can appreciate the comedy value of getting an A list celebrity to do a song like this, I have to object towards why it's considered acceptable 'bad assery' for the writers at Rebellion to include homophobic insults for Rourke to spout along with the rest of his soundbite tirade.

You don't see far better characters like Cpt. Price, Snake or Fisher going around calling people cocksuckers as a derogatory term while breaking necks. Did they really think that makes Marcinko 'edgy'? While they're at it, how about some racial slurs and demeaning women for the sequel. I hear that shit's really trendy too.

Batman sold more than it probably should because what's the real alternative? Wolfenstein or Madden. With Halo ODST just around the corner those looking for a FPS fix would rather save the cash and (being in the UK) Madden might as well be an alien concept. No rocket science here!

I thought that the new(ish) Telltale Sam 'N Max  games were supposed to be released on XBL the same time as Wallace & Gromit this summer.  They even said as much on that awful InsideXbox sendamessage thing.

What ever happened to that?

Not to say that this also wouldn't be an instant purchase, although considering it's not actually that long it should definately be 800 points not 1200. It would have been more sensical for them to bundle 1&2 together so that younger gamers can get the entire /official/ Gilbert-era M.I. story and fill in the blanks in Tim Shafer's past career before they play Brutal Legend.

I personally come to Giant Bomb for the opinions of staff who I think are entertaining and interesting, if I wanted a straight forward press release about a certain product I'd go to the producer or retailers website.

To say that this article is bad because he expresses his own opinion about the Wii is somewhat missing the point in the websites ethos.  If you yourself visit this site for your gaming news and nowhere else (e.g. kotaku, destructoid etc.) and want cold hard facts, you are severely in the minority and arguably in the wrong place.
