I know that this is unfair, but I was already slightly wary going in after all the waifu stuff, so my heart sank a little when I saw the 'white knight' joke just a few moments in. Still, I'm glad to hear there isn't too much of that in the game.

The bolt cutters have the same weird 'moving on their own' thing sometimes, so I'm really wondering if the finger thing is actually just a glitch with viewing any items.

It's fun watching people dig through this like PT - most recently, people seem to have found that the finger can act like a compass pointing toward interactive objects under certain circumstances - but it really seems like there isn't anything more to it beyond extensive teasing.

...it does seem to be a good way to kickstart your streaming channel, though, so maybe I'll fire it up in a bit lol

I appreciate their willingness to stick to the source material and make the Horde 1000x more interesting than the Alliance, but they may want to scale it back for the sequel. ( /s )

This was an absolute trainwreck, but one I'm shockingly enthusiastic about.

Performance on PC (i5 3570k / 970) is hugely improved for me from the beta, runs just about flawlessly on max settings, though cutscenes are shockingly fucked (not edited).

Still haven't gotten past the handful of beta missions I did. I do kind of like the intro, but I can already see some of the open world trappings getting tiresome quickly.

At the very least, the tone they seem to be going for is immediately more interesting.

Wonder if it'll actually feel like the real place and not a Canadian stand-in city like the last time around.

Casino Royale. I'm still sad that they rebooted the franchise so well but then entirely squandered all the potential they had going forward.

Looking just at "classic" Bond, most of which I haven't seen since I was much younger, I guess I still have a particularly soft spot for The Man with the Golden Gun.

I start to daydream an elaborate soap opera developing between the different logos, advancing the narrative bit by bit every time I launch the game.

Just got back from the Chicago show. Kind of blown away, honestly. I figured I'd enjoy it, I finally tried a couple of the games after searching for new rhythm games to play and found I enjoyed a good deal of the music, but it's really something else live.

We live in a crazy cyberpunk world. Edit: One more.

(Also, Anamanaguchi!)
