Dynasty Warriors 8 XL. I had a shiny new PS4 I was looking to play stuff on and I enjoyed the PS2 DW games back in high school, so I figured I may as well give it a shot. Bought it at 11am, and by 2pm I was putting it up on Amazon for a couple bucks below retail lol. The series is just not at all for me anymore.

The Secret of Monkey Island, specifically a demo copy that came bundled in with a pack of blank 5 1/2'' floppies my dad got. My parents had me on computers at a young age (born '86) so it's possible I played some kind of educational thing before then, but this is the earliest one I have any memory of, and at the very least it was certainly the one that had the biggest effect on my childhood. Monkey Island 1-2 (and the other early/mid 90s Lucas point 'n clicks) were massively influential in my sense of humor and my general taste in games.

So is there no way to listen to the "radio" music outside of the arcade and the waiting room? I can't believe they put together such a huge, awesome soundtrack only to hardly ever let you listen to it.

The "base" game is actually pretty damn addicting, lol

@knurrunkulus: Same here. I took my headset off a couple times while playing Job Simulator and was kind of surprised at how better it looked on the TV than it does in the headset.

Overall, this has been about what I expected so far. Having the usual Move-mote tracking issues, occasional world lurching as it forgets where I am for a moment, etc. It seems to be very game-dependent, though; I don't have any trouble in Tumble VR making very slight, precise movements and having them track damn near perfectly, but trying to do the same type of movements in Job Simulator would work maybe 50% of the time.

Aside from the fact that the mouse feels weird as hell with its slower vertical movement, it's running fantastically on my 3570k / 970 at 1080. Mostly High settings, a couple Very High, no Ultra.

Seems like I'm not getting the option to pin, either. PC. Tried plugging in a controller and pressing triangle / Y, nothing.

That Jak and Daxter run was a hell of a thing. Reminds me of slap-happy late night gaming sessions with friends.

In no particular order, aside from the tied #1s:

1. Lost in Translation

1. Wall-E

Back to the Future

Star Wars IV

Scott Pilgrim vs The World

In Bruges

500 Days of Summer

Toy Story

City Lights

The Brothers Bloom

And some others that could easily wind up on the list depending on what my mood happens to be the next time I think about it: The Third Man, How To Train Your Dragon, The Conversation, Men in Black, Rocky, Hot Fuzz, Tangled, Eternal Sunshine, Up, Modern Times, Stranger than Fiction, Fellowship of the Ring, Terminator 2, The Incredibles, The Iron Giant, Rushmore, The Social Network, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and probably another two dozen I'm forgetting. I'm exercising some incredible restraint in not editing this post to oblivion.

The 60s and the 90s never seem to come to me very often when I think about favorites, even though I grew up during the latter.

Figured I'd edit & bump this to point out it's $20 on PSN right now, today through the morning of the 9th. It wouldn't surprise me if online was a ghost town by now (I haven't played myself for a while) but it's still a lot of fun for the single-player stuff.
