I just got it at GOG, even though I have the original Fallout which I bought for 100DM in it's days, somewhere. If you don't mind graphics and like games where they don't hold you by your hand - get it, you won't regret it. It runs perfectly and there is even a high resolution patch over at no mutants allowed. Or maybe skip 1 and just play 2 (there's alot more to do).

It's so funny. Before a month a bough a Xbox360 because I was so stoked about Fallout3 and don't have a up-to-date computer. I didn't even read news about Fable II, i expected it to turn out bad. But right now I'd rather get Fable II and skip Fallout.

Maybe because the game has beneath half of the potential audience of  Fallout3, FarCry for example? (which are released for 3 platforms)

Thanks dude! Scaling is the main reason I didn't have fun with Oblivion.

Clean, you make me sad. Why is nice to blow peoples heads of everywhere but not nice to kill children. Because it's way more evil, yeah. Fable II is a matrue-rated game, amirite? Two of the greatest games in history, where you could also kill children, of the top of my head: Jagged Alliance II and Fallout. You should really reflect on your morals because these borders between morality and immorality are really superficial.

I agree with most people here. It reads more like "Oh gawd I think it's kind of a mediocre game, but then again, the other people will like it so I give it a 4 (also I might have been anticipating too much from this one)".
Also, GTAIV is definitly no 5. It's a four.

Breton: Gta IV is a TOTALLY different approach to the series then GTA III was, I don't think you can compare that to a Morrowind-Oblivion dumbed down iteration.
