@gregoryc: yea, that's what concerns me for the 2-hours trophy, Ico gets stuck in the rail most of the time, takes many attempts to get up to the platform

Oh, didn't know about that, thankfully I passed that puzzle, even if I have to say that all the walkthroughs I read (but the one I linked above) have the "pre-patch" solution for that home.

I'm quite worried for the less-than-two-hours achi anyway, there are couple of things that may take time and this puzzle, even knowing what to do, looks very itchy. Normal rail one would have been better ;)

I dunno folks, still have to decide between this, Skyrim and Rage...

Aw damn, looks like EU and US versions have different puzzles for that room, sorry for being so whiny :)

Worst thing is the broken puzzle in ICO :/

Hello folks, first post here in GB, hope this will be the start of a looooong friendship with you guys :)

Anyway, let's start.

Yesterday I've bought ICO&SOTC Collection, SOTC is one of my favourite games of all time and I never played ICO, so I've been very happy to buy this collection even if I don't use my PS3 that much (I'm a PC player mostly).

Started playing ICO, found it very nice and intriguing, so I played it through till what is called "Part IV: Water and Wood".

Now here comes the problem. There's with two ladders (one of which is broken on the lower part) a pipeline and a sort of "steam device" with a piston on which Ico can climb and that can be triggered by a lever.

I got stuck here for over a hour, so I decided to look the internets for a walkthrough. The walkthrough suggested to shimmy through the pipeline until I reached a window, but it's not possible because the pipeline itself is broken. I thought I didn't understand the walkthrough (might be, I'm Italian ^^) so I went to Youtube for a visual one and here comes the SHOCK! This room (for instance, the one before the side quest for the secret sword) is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! On the PS2 version the pipeline is complete, there's no "steam device" and no broken ladder, you just have to shimmy and get to the window, easy as that. Also, I guess that the piston that comes out of the steam device is supposed to "shoot" you to the upper platform where the window is, but it's just not powerful enough and all you get is a mid-air jump that gets you nowhere.

Anyone else noticed this or had the same issue as me? Any solutions?
