The sewage pipes and huge gap behind the Plan B warehouse. Getting up loads of speed and then crouching all the way down the hill before you hit the ramp and sail over the wall is a proper rush!

Agree about the 'break' music, and yeah, I think the opening theme has hints of GTA San Andreas too. It's the high-pitched thing that pops in shortly after the start, not sure what it's called...

Thanks for the info Dave.

I don't think many here will have a problem with advertising in the non-obtrusive way you suggest - if it's keeping the site up and running and supporting you guys, it's a tiny price to pay for such a top notch site!

Does anyone know if advertising is going to be placed on GB anytime soon? Bomb staff have to make a living so I presume that advertising is one of the major ways to fund GB...

When advertising does happen, do you think a paid membership will be implemented and one of the benefits will be the facility to turn off advertising?

It's not something that bothers me at all, I would just be interested to hear other peoples views on whether a paid membership, if it happened, would be of interest.

I wasn't overly impressed to be honest. The graphics look sharper, but players still fell into each other during breaks in the gameplay, the crowd didn't look great etc. At the end of the day, it's Madden and I'm starting to think they need to do something radical to change it. But therein lies the problem. Each year EA can push it forward a little bit but they can't really change anything because the game is the game.

The full game could vary wildly from the demo (hmmm...) so you never know. Also, I agree with the rest of you - I would rather have played a couple of quarters rather than the Madden Moment. I spent about an hour playing it and still never beat it, and I thought I was a UK player who was fairly decent at the series!

Yup, pretty silly hair (sorry guys.)

Saying that though, is there anyone here who HASN'T had a crap haircut at one point in their lives...?

Just to start it off- when I was 18 I had very, very short black hair with a blond mohawk over the top of my head, and a bright red one running along the side. I thought I was the bees knees when I had it done, and realise now that I actually just looked like a proper nob. I've just realised as well that this was only 5 years ago. Fuck.

To be fair, slightly less than one quarter Europeans isn't a bad figure at all in a continent that leans towards its traditional favouritism of Playstation. I hear loads of fellow Brits on XBL, and Americans, Japanese, Italians, Germans etc. Those figures (if they are true) don't really affect the people you meet while gaming, there's always a variety and I have no problem with Americans being the dominant group. My lady is American (that doesn't mean she dominates me by the way *ahem*) and they aren't especially rude or racist compared to any other nationalities.

I've heard quite a few racists slurs on XBL in the past, from all kinds of people. You could attribute it to the fact that people are anonymous and feel like they can get away with it, or you can just realise that it's a reflection of society. XBL doesn't breed racist, arsehole teens - the world does. Instead of hitting report buttons and muting players, the rest of the community should come back with some defence for whoever's being picked on. I'm not a rose-sniffin', Disney-lovin' fella, but I do think it's disgusting when other players sit silent as someone else in the game recieves a barrage of insults.

People just need to stick up for each other.
