I thought it was pretty boring at the time.  I get why they don't do a PS1 remake, that would be a lot harder/take longer.  If they had to pick a PS2 one I would rather 12 and that way they would release the Job System version that never came out here.  FFX sold well though so it's the safe/easy move.

Don't they only do .5 increments now?  9.5.

Couldn't watch either of these conferences.  Nintendo was too crazy, Sony was too boring and I was too American.

UFO stands for Unidentified Flying Object.  If you see an object flying through the sky and no one is sure what it is - it's a UFO.  It doesn't have to mean little green men.   But, I guess you mean bored Aliens - so no to all.

It's a 2nd stick.  It's not some experimental thing.  All games are better with one.  There has to be a revision with this stick built-in and games are going to use it.  If you have an old 3DS you will need to get one or your games will be worse for it.  There are more games using this stupid stick that isn't even out yet than Wii Motion + games.  It's not the same as every other optional add-on.
 
You should be glad about a 2nd stick.  It's a good thing.  But it's just another point in the endless bullet list of 'You really shouldn't have bought this thing yet.'

It's a modified engine.  It's not completely different.  It seems like things are going to play the same, just look a little better.

Last night I was watching MNF on espn and the announcer said shit and then later apologized - I didn't even notice it until he pointed it out.  We use 'bad' words so often in everyday life it's more jarring to hear someone pretend that they don't than it is to actually hear the word.  Censorship is way more offensive than coarse language.

I don't feel like shooters are as fun to be good at anymore, since they started blowing up on consoles.  They went casual, so I did too I, guess.
I would have never played something like Uncharted when I was a teenager - it would have been too linear/scripted, but I'm okay with that now.  Maybe because of how much presentation has improved.
I still like a good goofy Japanese game like an MGS, but aside from MGS it seems like their presentation is actually decreasing.
I have liked sandboxes for as long as I can remember.  From Zelda 1 to New Vegas.
 
I think the games are changing more than I am.
