They have done fucked it up. The reputation this game picked up is so bad, I believe the developer will only invest minimal effort to deliver what they promissed in terms of new content and then let it die. I wish I was mistaken, I would love to buy and play this game, I was really excited for it but damn, they really did a number on this one.

I’ll have to wait for reviews, the little I have seen in terms of videos looks great, but everything I hear sounds...not great, mainly here on GB. I’ll wait and if it’s mediocore, I’ll probably pick it up later for an appropriate price.

The demo unsold me on the game, I was going to get it, but it feels bad (framerate) and the world is weirdly separated into chunks, and the way it groups you with other players feels wrong (jump to a loading screen, destroing any feeling of continuity). I’ll might play it later, if it gets more polished/cheaper.

It’s a good game, I’m glad I can play it for a little while for free, but for a good old multiplayer I’ll stick with Siege. I didn’t expect to burn out on BR this soon, but here I am. And the focus on the teamplay is a huge bummer, I will always queu solo and I would love a mode for solo players, I don’t feel there is enough of a teambuilding aspect to build the whole game around it. Maybe later when tje roster is bigger, but they will lose most players who feel tje same as my by then.

In general, I struggle with this as well - long term. The demand creates the supply, which is why I do buy more expensive meat that comes from a proper farm, for example. At the same time I know that for each person deciding to go this way there are dozens that don’t (in this example people who are getting old enough to eat meat and start to consume). So in the end, this fight is almost completely futile and all I’m buying is some sort of release from the guilt. I’ll still do it, but I know it makes next to no difference, as a whole, people don’t really care.

Yes, this happenned to me multiple times. Not only I hate autoplay on anything, ever, but this disabling the option for download is not great. When this happens, I just go do something else, it’s getting to a point it’s not worth the hassle. I use an iPad app to download the videos instead.

Doesn’t incognito mode also disable saving cookies, preventing the setting from being remebered? I go to the site so much less since the redesign and I use a plug-in for reorginising the layout anyway, so I didn’t test this for myself.

My very first impression is when you decide to do a five minute long zoom via a pre-rendered video file, you should use a proper compression and not fill it with artifacts! For some people this may be a small thing, but it totally ruined the initial feeling of the game for me, for a game this long in developement this shows a weird lack of interest/polish right off the bat.

As for the game itself I was defenitelly expecting something else (something better), I will get back to it at some point, when I'm in the mood for a slow paced game.
