Anything with a focus on critique, really. My first reason for coming to the site is for entertainment purposes, but hearing Jeff, Brad, or Alex really dig into a game and explain exactly what they think about it is a fairly close second.

I was going to say the same but specifically for games they all are playing (e.g. Destiny 2). Maybe something like a Quick Look v2 where they revisit a game after playing it some more and can talk about it in more depth (and more spoilers). A bit like a mix of spoilercasts, GOTY discussions, and the retrospective videos they've done with developers (e.g. The Witness, Tacoma).

I really like that video where Vinny is finishing Bioshock Infinite while everybody else discusses it, and then Vinny gives his opinion when he has seen the ending.

Yes more of this would be amazing!

@junkiiiii: Frame pacing means the render time of frames is uneven. You might have a series of frames with a render time of 16ms and then a frame time of 33ms:

16 16 33 16 16

Or

16 33 16 33 16

Visually this is perceived as stuttering. This is one reason stuttering has been a problem with multi GPU setups on PC.

I played this game over the break and really wanted to like it. I love the setting and the first couple hours were cool but as the game went on I felt like I was fighting the core game mechanics and level design more and more. I got up to sequence 8 where you have to start a fight with a group of enemies and I just had enough. Every mission was expecting me to do some super linear thing the way the designer wanted. There were also those stupid "tough" enemies where you can't hit directly, parry, or air assassinate. Like, wtf? Why put an enemy in the game that doesn't react to any of the core game mechanics?!! WHY ARE YOU NOT LETTING ME BE A COOL ASSASSIN MAN?

Maybe I'm seeing it through rose colored glasses but I think my favorite Assassin's Creed is still the first one, regardless of how repetitive it was. I actually felt like I was this master assassin that could traverse these really complicated set of architecture to get to my target and figure out how I wanted to assassinate them. Whereas in AC3 I'm Connor an annoying brat being told to alternate between three circles to press X at the right time over and over or "oh hey why don't you throw all this tea overboard CAUSE LIKE REMEMBER HOW THAT HAPPENED IN REAL LIFE AND AREN'T YOU SO HAPPY THAT YOU GET TO DO IT IN THIS VIDEO GAME NOW?!"

What is the co-op? The steam page says there is co-op but I can't find any info on what that means. Can I play through the campaign with a friend?

The Earth render looks incredible. I hope they (or anyone) can make a similar render quality for other planets. I would love a VR experience where I'm orbiting one of our other planets. Imagine looking down to see the detail in Jupiter's clouds. I don't even need a game. Maybe it could be an educational experience.

Carrie Gouskos! She was awesome during the old Gamespot days and the few times she's been on during E3 or GDC streams.

My only personal gripe is that the binoculars aren't a toggle and the xbox one controllers shoulder buttons are trash, utter trash and they keeps slipping out even though I am clearly holding them/it in.

Oh god this. I really hope they add a toggle option for the binoculars so I don't have to hold the xbox one shoulder buttons. The smallest bit of depress and it thinks I've let go and closes the binoculars. It's awful.
