@facelessvixen: The Ultimate Ninja Storm games are legitimately great games that are both fun to play and do a good job at retelling the Naruto story. (I even think they do a better job than the anime or manga in a few parts.) Just know that the non-numbered ones are considered side games and are totally skippable if you're not looking to get them all.

It was only 248/turnip anyway, which is nice but nothing compared to a lot of the other large spikes I've seen on here.

It's probably Andromeda, but I am also something of a defender of that game like some of the other people in this thread. Still, that defense boils down to "it's not THAT bad." Similar to Dragon Age Inquisition, I think that game is at its best when you're doing the authored content instead of the mediocre open world stuff.

A close runner up would be launch-window Destiny. I loved the Halo games and when I first heard that Bungie's next project was a shooter-MMO hybrid, I was pumped beyond belief. And then I got the game and while the shooting was fun, everything else was tedious and/or nonsensical. I thought it was really telling at the time that the friends of mine who were the most into it were the ones who had zero experience with WoW or other MMOs like I had, so a lot of the ideas around faction grinding were new to them. Destiny was so disappointing I gave up roughly halfway through the campaign (I think right around the time you first meet the Awoken) when I came to the realization that "I have no idea who I am, what I am, where I am, where I'm going, what I'm intending to do there, or what my ultimate goal is."

Also yes I'm still mad that Brad got Destiny onto the 2014 GOTY list over Wolfenstein and Divinity.

Loving it so far, but man oh man is having to unlearn the weapon triangle is maybe the hardest thing for me so far in this game.

I was already excited for it when it was announced, but the early previews and reviews that have been popping up the last two weeks have gotten me extremely hyped for it.

I'm doing the Italian chef kiss to all that info. This movie sounds like it's going to be a fantastic, beautiful, horrible mess.

While it plays almost exactly like a carbon-copy of WoW combat wise, I would heartily recommend Star Wars The Old Republic if you're looking for a PvE story-focused MMO. The last couple of expansions have been almost entirely narrative-focused and have transformed the game into something more like Diablo where it's a game that can be played start to finish single-player, or with your friends as a bonus.
