In the wake of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 being such a crushing disappointment, I tracked down a copy of Tony Hawk 3 from my local old games store.

Turns out it still rules to this day. Especially since I ripped it to my PC and can now play it pretty much whenever I want.

Even after watching people play it, we still will be incredibly confused if the new Smash Bros is a port of the Wii U version or a whole new game.

If you wanna take SWTOR as still-established-canon, the Sith Empire (which was pretty much the exact 1:1 template Palpatine used to reorganize the Republic into) straight up collapsed under its own weight because when you have a society built all around self-success at the expense of others and isolating any potential external allies, turns out it's only a matter of time before your empire rips itself apart.

Also genocide is bad, kids.

*Raises sign behind a steel barricade that says "Mass Effect Andromeda was an alright game that came out at the worst possible time (within a month of Zelda & Horizon) and had no hope of living up to expectations"*

@nutter:

Mass Effect 1 is also the only Mass Effect game with a compelling villain.

For all ME2 gets right, I think the Collectors look dumb and the boss fight against the giant Terminator was a wet fart.

@rorie: Welp, guess I'm restarting the game as I specced Fran first as an archer. I was already not super into my class choices anyways.

Edit: How does this look?

Hearing on the Bombcast today about how BioWare is going all in on Anthem and has floated the idea of shutting SWTOR down, it got me thinking about the fate of MMOs as a whole. Sure, WoW isn't going to die any time soon, but how is Guild Wars 2 doing? What about The Elder Scrolls Online? Are there any other MMOs that are managing to stay afloat in the current market? And are there any more in active development?

While I like what I've played of Destiny 2, I really don't want that to be the final fate of all MMOs going forward. I really like having a big open world to roam around in, not a series of medium-sized corridors and a disconnected story.

From order of best to worst:

Flashbangs. They will save your ass so many times in the early missions.
