While I didn't find the puzzles as good as Last Specter, the story for this game is touching in a way I was not expecting.

This was my first real experience to MH, and I absolutely loved it. I can't wait for MHX and the inevitable MH5. (HR100+, G Crown, all but the final quest complete)

Not quite as good to me as Canvas Curse, but the game oozes style, and offers a decent challenge.
-
Dogmeat survived!

The gamebryo engine keeps New Vegas from being a truly great game; Obsidian's writing keeps the game interesting to the end, but the amount of bugs and engine limitations make it an exhausting experience. (Base game.)
-
You are in a list, Max.
-
This game blew me away. The control over creating your own adventure in the world of the wasteland made every step of this game unforgettable for me.
-
"Free-to-start" is a good model, especially with caps on how much you can spend on the game. The simplicity and speed of this game keep me playing.
-
A very good addition to the eShop lineup.

3D eShop ver. by M2

Some bad checkpoints, but excellent overall.

This is the first time there's been a home port of Thunder Blade in the US, and in Japan since the X68000 version. Not as great as the other superscaler 3D classics, but the history of this game and the significance of this release make it worth picking up.
-
The -mo series remains fresh. I wish I knew how they did it.
-
Few brand new IPs manage to capture my attention and adoration as well as Splatoon does. I can't wait to see what the next generation of Nintendo development brings us in the future. A solid single-player (and a great final boss) and phenomenally fun multiplayer make this my personal game of the year.
-
All the endings this time.

"Don't date say 'goodbye.' We'll meet again. Somewhere. Somewhen."
-
Worst final boss of any game I've ever played.
-
Ys II suffers from a bit over reliance on maze-like levels and Ys I's boss design is incredibly simple but I found these two to be a great duology. Music by Mieko Ishikawa and Yuzo Koshiro helps, too.
-
Game cleared on Hard up to Galbalad (who was beat on Normal in Time Attack). Playing this game on hard is a huge mistake as it sucks all of the potential fun you can have with it.
