I must be one of the few who thought moon was fantastic but was pretty let down by source code. Don't really have a horse in this race (only briefly played wow), but there's a chance it could be decent.
Im the staunchest nintendo fan, but man with only zelda, pokemon, and amiibo stuff surfacing it scarily feels like they're disappearing off the face of the earth. Pretty sure that's not the case, just nx stuff they're not ready to show, but it's an ominous thought.
@drgrumbles: the only part of this that counts as criticism is to research a little and make the non-UPF shows a bit tighter. which yeah may be valid, but again have you even VISITED the site over the past eight years? it's always been that way. i don't think they're gonna change that now unless the complaints get REALLY vocal.
the rest seems like personal preference and/or grudges against certain staff members. they're not going to get rid of dan and (i sure as hell hope) they're not going to strongarm him into changing his personality.
i like gbeast and what they do generally, but i also feel like they're somehow beyond reproach. i think they're just as silly, aimless, and unprepared as gbwest is, just the personalities appeal more to some people so they get a free pass. i personally don't care as much for them (exception being alex), but it's not enough to complain or cancel my subscription over.
some more ongoing features/home streams would be nice, but i also think people underestimate the amount of work they put into generating the content they already are. they probably just don't have the resources/people/time.
Once again with the false disparity of gb west's "horribleness" to gbeast's "perfection", ugh. Also the first three points make me wonder if you've ever been steadily visiting the site. But fair enough, it's your money. Just think you're doing it for all the wrong reasons.
I also laughed at there being some corporate mandate for dan to tone down wrestling talk.
@stordoff: i think it's just a fun one off thing, the majority of the content doesn't work that way. Maybe they can split the difference and have a similar challenge but let it be repeatable.
Also at this point i'm muttering hitdan:brad money in my sleep. I need my fix!
If we're just basing things on speculation, then I'll pick No Man's Sky 3: Revelations. They'll probably have ironed out the issues of the first two games by then....
you act like it's hideous. at "worst" it looks very similar to civ5. i do wish they evolved/changed the aesthetics more but we've barely seen any of the game.
