  • Before anybody says it, I know the review seems overly negative. I wanted to avoid talking about the common sense stuff that we've all read by now. Dedicating a separate paragraph to the graphics, framerate, physics, AI etc. seemed rather pointless. So with that said, if I did write about the above, it would seem more balanced than it is now.

  • An enjoyable game that falls apart after Broker.: Warning: spoilers abound. Grand Theft Auto IV is a rather contradictory and schizophrenic game; contradictory in what it establishes within the narrative and tonal direction, and schizophrenic in what it wants to be, be-it a Grand Theft Auto game as we know it or a stand-alone game in and of itself. • RobbieH commented on Jeff's blog post New Genres or Themes?
I know that there's a separate genre for strategy and real time strategy, but turn-based strategy should probably be separate too. • RobbieH commented on Jeff's blog post Playing this weekend?
I really have to get my digital hands on Braid and Geometry Wars 2, especially before Castle Crashers hits in a few weeks. My weekend will involve 200 flying rats in Liberty City. Having to shoot them is a pain in the ass, but I'm so close to 100%. :(

  • Penguin's idea is probably the most likely; post on other blogs and people will return the favour. I've noticed that before; if I don't comment on a friend's blog they won't comment on mine, but the minute I comment on their's they come straight over to mine. :P

Thinking about throwing in Assassin's Creed (the first one) to generate interest in the sequel... or at least try to. Worth finishing?

The reason I still believe in PC gaming? I've played a dozen LFD2 pickup games now all with great people using voice chat and teamwork.

Has anyone found a clever solution to solve Django's lack of a "ready-to-go" signal? Something that works with both web and mgmt commands?
