1) Why should Ziggler care that Breeze is taking Summer off his hands? He doesn't even care about her.
2) If they were gonna make Rollins into this much of a goober, we should have just had a Heath Slater title run for the last 6 months. He would have at least been more charismatic about it.
I can't pretend to be such a big fan, but the Mets are in my blood.
It's been a shit year for my family (a few big losses, close calls, and some bad apples seem to be lost to their vices forever). Getting this far, and Murphy making history, really is a shining light.
The NES started it all for me, and the games are still great. Just this summer, I found a picture of me at what must be Christmas morning, 1990. I'm holding Mega Man 3 over my head in triumph.
Thanks for the pointers, @extintor! It's good to know if I'm doing something completely wrong or not. I'm still in good spirits, and will trim down my cover letters for now on.
I just shortlisted a bunch of people for a job in my office. There were about 20 candidates that met the criteria so I needed to get the number down to a half dozen to make it possible to interview people. One of the ways I was able to do this was by checking every applicant's facebook and linkedin and using the results as one of several final passes to whittle out anyone who doesn't present themselves publicly in a professional manner. People without profiles faced no such penalty. Harsh, but it should give people a window into a reason why having no profiles will not count against you.
I've been trying to find a new job for over a year now. Despite having a resume with 5+ years of corporate experience with a well established organization, I can't help but feel not having FB or Linkedin is probably sinking me.
The problem is... I sort of come from a white trash town. FB would just link me to family members or people who remember me in high school and tracked me down, who are 85% made up of drug addicts, criminals, racists, etc... I feel like it would do me more harm than good. Also I think starting a Linkedin acct with no contacts just looks sad.
