@thunderslash: Mostly we just didn't post or tweet very much, I think. We were all together on the fourth, so that helped a bunch, too.

I think that the GBCP podcast is supposed to come sometime this week, so I think that'll be a good thing for all of us to listen to.

I must warn you ahead of time though... I did do a recording and sent it in to them. I was rushed, because I didn't have a lot of time to record it with no one around, so I hope you'll be able understand me and my southern accent. I will sound like I am reading something, and that's because I am reading what I wrote down to say. Don't expect too much emotion in my speech. I did mean every word I said, and I hope that in itself will be meaningful to everyone. =-)

@mrmazz: If you ever need someone to talk to don't be afraid to PM me.

It's certainly been strange mourning someone I didn't know. But thankfully through twitter, the GB community, and a very understanding friend it hasn't been too bad for me. I'm very lucky in that regard.

More so I'm just concerned about those closer to Ryan and how they're holding up. I'm sure plenty of fellow community members feel the same as I do when I say I wish there was something we could do to help comfort everyone.

Hopefully time can truly heal all wounds.

I still can't believe that you guys managed to keep it together online during the 4th of July weekend. That is some professionalism right there.

It's gotten better as the week went on. Hearing you guys on the podcast did a lot to help me feel like I was beginning my own healing process, though I know the road ahead is much longer for you guys. One day at a time. Nobody's rushing. Take all the time you need.

You are my favorite human piece of shit, Rorie. I mean that in the kindest and sincerest manner possible. Have a good weekend.

It's been getting better Rorie. Monday was a gut punch but things move on.

It helps that I got out and went for a couple of walks and saw Pacific Rim. Can not WAIT for you alex and who ever else wants to talk about that movie. It's really stupid fun but really wish it was a bit more there. Also watching EVO is pretty fun.

This week has been a blur and has shaken me even more than I expected knowing how long I've loved the GB family. I think we're all grateful for the acknowledgment of the impact it's had on us and so many others in addition to your own unimaginable pain, and it's confirmed my longstanding suspicion that you were an amazing bunch of people. Every single one of you guys has handled this extremely well. Thank you.

It's been very hard to come to terms with this tragic event, but the community here has helped a lot. Thanks Rorie.
