"I'm a smoker, unfortunately, and it's a HORRIBLE habit. I'm trying to quit, but alas, I'm unsuccessful. However, I hate the stigma surrounding smoking, and I always have. Although it's quite bad for you, it's a free country, and those who wish to smoke should be allowed to. Not in public, because I don't enjoy seeing others around the smoke I create, but I'm a grown man and I understand the ramifications of my actions. I know all of the facts, yet I still enjoy lighting one up and going outside. I think TRUTH should be allowed to dispense the facts about smoking, however I think the way in which they are doing it is sometimes a bit overdone.
Smoking to me isn't necessarily about knowing or not knowing the "TRUTH". I was NEVER a smoker until last year, and I always vowed not to do it. I was serving in Iraq and was really really stressed out. My buddy gave me one, told me to relax during a heavy fire-fight and I did. Ever since then I've been a smoker. It's not about the cool camel, or the cowboy. It's not about the old "cool" trendy look to it. Many people simply smoke because its an addiction, like alcohol, caffeine and other drugs and vices (gambling, porn, etc). It's simply something I fell into, and am having a difficult time coming out of. I was never "lured" in by Big Tobacco. I don't care about the advertisements at the 7-11, or the color of the cartons. So to me, it's a choice. If someone chooses to smoke then hey, thats my right. Even though I find it hard to quit, and I know its the nicotine which is addicting, I also enjoy my "smoke breaks." I enjoy the feeling of smoking when I'm done working a hard days work. Just like with everything else, moderation, to me, is the key to sustaining and quitting. Sometimes I smoke a pack a day, other times I smoke 1 cig a day - it depends on what I'm doing and how I'm feeling. I just wish people would get over it and let other people do as they wish. Yes it's dirty, and it smell bad, but if you're not around it then keep your mouth shut and don't smoke. But don't tell me that what I choose to do is bad; I know it's bad for me, but oh well - I'm who I am and I choose, yes I ULTIMATELY CHOOSE to smoke. The day I feel like I'm done with them, then I will try harder to quit. I'll buy the patches, lozenges and gum, and set a goal to break the physical and mental dependence.
But in this day and age, we're all informed. We know the TRUTH and thanks for giving it to us. But I can choose to either ignore certain parts, or not. I never ask people to start smoking, and I never force anyone. I never smoke in bars, near children, or in restaurants. I can control when I want to smoke and where. So for all of you who think smokers are "stupid", then please stop eating McDonald s, stop drinking sodas filled with High Fructose Corn syrup; wear sun screen when at the beach, get exercise, go and break any addiction to gaming that you feel you might have - save a tree, save a rain forest, get a hybrid car - stop littering, cut down on consumption - donate to charity and don't cheat on your girlfriends. If you can do all of that with ease, and you can go about your day as a perfect saint - then by all means preach to me. I'll invite you into my home, I'll sit you down and let you yell at me and tell me how dumb I am, how I'll get cancer, and I'm wasting my money - how I fell into the Big Tobacco's pockets, and we'll all have a grand old time.

Its hard.
I have quit and started again numerous times.
Currently im on the nicotine chewing gum at work. And a device i whole heartadly reccomend found here https://e-cig.com/index_flash.html, when im at home. (The pipe is the best one). It justifies its purchase with the amount i save not buying cigarretes alone.
I havent quit nicotine, but it sure has helped me get out of the pattern of smoking, which is all but impossible with the amount of smokers i am around on a daily basis. Quitting the routine of smoking is as hard as quitting the nicotine itself.

The dudes definitely got some issues, I like the way he goes into denial and pretends not to know what anyones talking about at first and then not admit any wrong doing after.
I didnt see much difference myself. But as far as gaming i use a vga cable for my xbox and get a better resolution than both (1360*768), which i prefer over better darks.
I have heard its better though. It also carries Digital sound information, if that i useful for you.
The HDMI port was a factor in me giving my old xbox away as a gift and getting a new one. I was expecting it to make a big difference, but not so much. Also it creates a problem of not being able to get sound to my reciever as you can only have either the hdmi or the regular cord plugged in at any time. Which means i would have to export the sound from my tv to my reciever. Which it wouldnt do.
Another tip, most stores will try and charge you a ridiculous amount for a hdmi cable. Dont be fooled you can get them for dirt cheap off the internet.
