Out of curiosity, English is my third language and all..
Why did people start using "shutter", and "shutters" for things like closing game studios? I started to notice it maybe a year ago, it's like how over here we no longer eat cereal out of bowls, it's called deep plates now. Shutters sounds like an attempt at saying shuts (down) that's all wrong to the ears. What's it like in the native English countries?
Shutter means to close down. It is usually a reference to a "shutter door" one might find on a garage or a storage unit. It is typically symbolic of the death of an idea or organization.
For the better! This fall/christmas is looking waaaay too crowded as is. I'm fine with this early 2012. Wonder how they feel on missing christmas sales?!
Early 2012 is shaping up to be a little crowded too, with Bioshock Infinite, Starhawk and Mass Effect 3 it looks as though is going to be a stellar first half of the year.
Zero. I haven't had my 360 turned on in years, and I really dislike the whole buying points to buy things crap so I have never bought anything on live and doubt I ever will.
You can use your credit card dude.
Or PayPal. You have to link your account though via xbox.com. Definitely the preferred way to pay securely if you have an account.
