Most of the comments here are sad in the inability to see a spectrum of responses between nothing and “you are fired”. Speaks of a massive lack of imagination and also a speed in which one falls over to the narratives of power.
This is all before you factor in the fact that the president called it an ‘attack’?
Also in the most chickenshit move fire the other developer who was being courteous and sticking up for Price.
It all reads as scummy from top to bottom and it is emboldening a mob Fuck AreaNet and those who support this decision.
@dougcl: I am not sure Dan has given any indication that that part of him is ironic and given everything else about Dan I find that hard to believe. Agree with everything else you have said.
It kinda drives me nuts how this website talks around the best Woo has to offer in never really bringing up Hard Boiled, The Killer and the first two A Better Tomorrow movies that are leaps and bounds superior to all of his North American work including this and I am not even convinced Dan has seen any of these even though he has clearly played Stranglehold.
The one thing I want to tell them is that the Proximity Explosives in the game all arm when you drop them as well as throw them so if while walking past Busey you bring up the item wheel drop a Proximity Explosive and then start huffing it away the mine will blow up and you will already be on your way to the exit.
@killergoalie: no confirmation that was my assumption based on standard well produced video game controller cost and the fact that there are two of them, probably will be bundled together for less than that in a two pack.
So this is what 80 more than the Rift with its Touch Controllers assuming a pair of those is a 120.
I can justify a console launch price because those by necessity add value over time, but for a untested in the public Peripheral I am way more cautious and have no problem waiting. Plus there is still whatever Sony decides to do now that everyone else has waded in before them.
