It's a real shame. I love the first game and this was on the top of my most wanted for this year. Then i saw the shenanigans going on with the loot boxes and ftp mobile tactics being pushed. It dropped straight off the list, all the way down to a maybe on a steam sale 18 months from now. Vote with your wallet folks, don't support this nickel and diming.
Agreed. Loved the first one, but I am voting with my wallet on this one. Loot boxes, online mechanics and poor story. Too many great games in October as it is.
The bad GBA audio is also why it fucking sucked for so many years that the only version of Yoshi's Island you could get was the GBA one on the Wii U VC. I thought there was some rights issue but apparently not since they have them here. Supposedly there was some kerfuffle about the rights to the Super FX chip so no StarFox or Yoshi's Island re-releases.
Sucks that you can't just get this bundle for the Switch, I don't really care about getting an extra thing that needs an additional HDMI slot.
Agreed! I would love a SNES Classic for nostalgia sake(Its still my favorite console of all time). But at the same time, just release these on the Switch already, I would rather play them there so I can have them on the go.
Weird choice. I don't mind the Avatars one way or the other, but I have owned an Xbox One since launch and I don't think I have seen the avatar I made like 6 years ago.
Rorie playing this on the UPF finally prompted me to go and watch the first two seasons on Netflix (it was a 99% recommend so I probably should have done it sooner). And DAMN is that show good. I wish this wasn't so tied to Roomscale, I'd love to play it on my PSVR
I saw this and got excited that it was on Netflix, as I looked for it last week. Alas in the US it is not.
Man, so like, you think Alex has like at least $500 worth of coins?
If it's closer to $1000 he can probably spring for a new PC or a 1080 or something
Man, I didn't expect to feel weird about reading that post. I'm not opposed to him selling the collection at all, but selling things that are sometimes upwards of 200 years old (wasn't one of those coins even from the 18th century?) in order to buy something that'll last around 6-8 years - if even that long considering they're professionals who need their stuff to be fairly up to date - really feels wrong.
I'd almost feel obliged to invest the money into something more lasting than that.
I completely agree. I would hate to see him sell these coins for a video card that these days you are lucky to get three good years out of. But at the same time he does not seem to care much about them, despite being passed on from his grandfather.
