Half-Life is a game.
Half-Life 2 is its sequel.
Episode 1 and Episode 2 are sequels to Half-Life 2.
If your computer is really so bad, you should get the Orange Box for your Xbox.  You computer will probably be able to handle Half-Life, though.

I actually prefer the 5-star scale that Giant Bomb and G4 use as opposed to the 1-10 scale that IGN and Destructoid use.  On a 1-10 scale, what separates a 8.6 from a 8.7?  It's just splitting hairs.  With the 5-star review, you get a basic idea of how good the game is, then you read the review.  The review is the important thing anyways because it describes what exactly is so good or bad about a game.  There are plenty of good games that are very good and get 4 or 5 stars, but I wouldn't buy because they don't fit my tastes.  Likewise, there are average or even bad games that would get 2 or 3 stars that I may still be interested in because they seem to fit my tastes.  A good example of this is Megaman Battle Network.  That series didn't exactly get great reviews, but there are people who love those games.  Basically, the most important thing is to read the review and understand why the writer liked or disliked the game.  Then you can make a good decision whether or not to buy it.

I don't think he's talking about "cloud-based" games in the sense we're thinking of.  I think he means that games won't be specific to any console, and that maybe there will only be one console, or no consoles at all.  It's hard to say what the future of video games will be like, but I personally don't think that cloud-based computing is really practical for something like video games.

I would highly recommend Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne, provided you have some experience with RPG's.  It can be very difficult, but it's also a really unique game that is definitely worth a try for any RPG fan.

Look at the PS3 Turbo Fire Controller.  It looks a lot like an Xbox 360 controller, so if you prefer those controllers you may like this one.

How did you find out about this?
Also, I want Vagrant Story because I never played it and it's so expensive now.

@SamStrife:
I think it's that Cloud has some 'unfinished bussiness' with Sephiroth... or something like that.  And then of course Barret comes to save the planet, and everyone else come along because they have nothing else to do.

I couldn't agree more about Metal Gear.  I absolutely love all the MGS games, but I don't want any more.  MGS4 was a perfect conclusion to the series, and anything more would only dilute it.  The problem is, Metal Gear is probably Konami's most acclaimed franchise, and they're not going to let it die peacefully.  There is a certain purity with the four games as they are, and too many side-stories and prequels would ruin that.

I'm also playing through Final Fantasy VII for a second time, and I'm progressing at about the same rate as this blog.  It's cool to play a through a part and see someone else's take on it.

BTW, do you find that playing it on PSP takes away from the experience at all?  I have the CD, but I'm not sure if I should download the PSN version so I can play it on my PSP also.
