Works great in Okamiden. Not perfect, obviously, because they've only developed the game with 8-way movement with the D-Pad in mind. But it's still a more natural fit.
as much as the 3DS launch sucks, Nintendo clearly tried backing off a bit so that third parties could have a bit more room to breathe. Too bad aside from Ghost Recon and SSF4, it's almost all garbage.
But even then, the real killer launch software is kinda what's already built into the system. If you want stuff that demonstrates what crazy stuff makes this system unique, the AR games and Face Raiders are it. Showing that off has gotten people I know way more excited and interested in the system than if I were to be like "Hey! I got this year-old Street Fighter game!" or "Nintendo remade a Zelda game!"
That was fucking ridiculous... Yeah, I'd say a good firing is in order. But it's also X-play, and just about anything G4-related is already pretty fucking lame
Sadface. I loved the original. It was really refreshing, really striking. Not perfect, but I was excited at the proposition of a sequel. But then a game like Army of Two gets a sequel.... great job, game industry.
I think for a while, the DS has had the most software retailers are willing to... well.. ignore. Even the cool, unique stuff, like Ghost Trick, or 999 (haven't found a copy yet.) It's a shame that a system that has so many real QUALITY software, is drowning from the weight of so much shovelware. It's not as bad as the Wii, mind you, but the bar of quality of the GOOD games is certainly higher.
