The events that happened at 1up left a gaping hole in my heart, one I sought
to fill. This was actually the first place I checked after hearing some of the Giant
Bomb crew on 1up Yours, and ended up staying. Its only been a few days, and
I'm still easing into the place, But I like it a lot here.

I guess if I'm forced to think about it... I guess I really like both sides of the road.
I'll always like the old school survival horror, where the SURVIVAL was much more
of a factor then it is these days. And if another game like this pops up on day (I'm
looking at you "I Am Alive") then I'm all for it.

But Br3adfan also had it right about the genre just evolving. Resident Evil 5 and Dead
Space ARE what it has become these days. I just don't think they have found a way to
meet all of these in the middle. My Dead Space inventory was completely overflowing
by the end of it... but it really felt like they were trying to hold back.

Its a genre I think that will keep going for a couple more years before it finally
hits the right strings of the old and the new. Finding that balance is just proving to
be a major challenge right now.

I'm still playing quite a few of them... but the main ones I haven't even
started yet are:

Fable 2
Mirrors Edge
Prince of Persia
Persona 4

I'll hit all those up as soon as I get rid of the crap in front of me. ^_^

I guess I'm with just about everyone else here, Legend of Drunken Master.
Though I was forced to watch a strange as hell Jackie Chan movie I've
NEVER heard of... City Hunter. Look it up if you ever want to know how
odd movies can really be.

I was always very taken by the song while your in Zora's Domain... I would just
sit there and listen to it while I did homework or something. Ah... the times
before I knew about soundtracks.

As much as I love me some Super Mario, I'm shocked it took THIS long.
The industry may be a lot bigger, but its also getting more and more
divided. Super Mario selling so well THAT long ago,  goes to show what
can happen when everyone knows what a good game is.
