@depecheload: I agree. It's one of those things as well where I think Jeff thinks his take is purely informative and objective but when he's also saying "it's complicated" when discussing its criticisms and saying things like you can't have a black and white stance on the issue like he did - those things benefit the people pushing this and perpetrating it. I'll stand with Alex quietly on this from here on out and just hope we don't see Jeff fall too deep into it.
Having 1 person vouch for a game is not a site list and not being able to tell that person that can't happen and that person not excepting it isn't correct at all.

I have to respectably disagree. Surely if a member of staff feels strongly about a game and are able to passionately put forward there case for it making the list, then it should make it.
Agreed! After all, there are less than 10 staffers at this point and it's a 10 entry long list so if someone is willing to fight and die for one that much, it's often got over 10% of the site's support for being on the list! That's just math, baby!
