Mario Maker is sold for for $60. $60. Game would be good for half that at the most, 40 because of Nintendo pricing bullshit. I also agree with whoever wrote in to say that the staff liking MM so much might have to do with the instant feedback and player base they get after they publish levels, course that doesn't really matter because this is a staff top 10 list not a best game objectively of 2015
Cool list though, at least Witcher 3 got a spot, wish Monster Hunter had gotten one as well. Now allow me to shake my head and scoff some more at Mario Maker... PISHHH.
I've been really hyped for this, looking forward to getting my WiiU charged up for the first time since finishing MH3U and moving on to MH4U. Fucking hype people
Why does everyone review this game only in the context of Bethesda games and not in the context of its contemporaries?
Putting this up against MGS and Witcher would be... not pretty. I'm not saying it shouldn't be done, I'm saying the putting it in the text of a review is a little more combative than most reviewers want their reviews to read.
I used to run Expert runs of L4D and L4D2 with friends, and we used to be pretty good. I've only sunk about 4 hours into this game but I've noticed two things
Game is harder than L4D, the loot system make this even harder as Tomes take up a slot used to carry healing supplies, and Grimoires make everyone have slightly less max health and take up a potion slot.
The community right now is pretty shit. Players are bad and very angry, makes for hard mode+ runs with pugs needlessly difficult. However I've also run into a few guys and played several games with them repartying.
Overall this game is pretty good and I'd recommend it to anyone for 30$
Makes sense, that charged extra money to make the game passable, so of course they release micro-transactions. This is still prob the least disgusting thing in Destiny though. Hope it stays cosmetic!
