This is not at all surprising. It had already sold over 52 million units worldwide as of June 30 (I assume this means sold to retailers), at least according to Nintendo.

Surprised that only one person mentioned Chuck, one of the best shows on TV. And aside from series already mentioned, Stargate SG1/Atlantis and Sanctuary are pretty good.

I don't think they have to be that worried. So far the film has gotten a pretty decent reviews, especially considering it's a summer popcorn flick.

The animation does look pretty bad, especially coming from a quality studio like Madhouse. But it's just a PV. We'll have wait and see when the actual series is released. I love how people are freaking out over a teaser trailer when the actual series probably hasn't even finished production yet.

My desktop varies because of Window 7's slideshow feature, but my two favorite ones are these:

Definitely gonna pick up Trouble in Paradise as soon as it hits the store. Other than that, there aren't really any titles on the list so far that I don't own or want to own.

I prefer playing solo during the later portions of the game but if I had to choose I suppose I would pick Teddie, Kanji, and Yousuke. Marakukaja + matarukaja + masukugaja is pretty useful. Teddie has mediarahan as well and both Yousuke and Kanji have good physical skills (brave blade and primal force). For bosses I may sub Chie in for Teddie (god hand + power charge is too useful to waste, plus Teddie's elec weakness can be annoying during certain boss fights).
